We are dedicated to designing customized STEM/STEAM (science, technology, engineering, math and art) clubs for schools in Butler and Hamilton County. Below you will learn about our most popular project-based enrichment programs and how to register your child or request a consultation for your school.
Educating children on STEM concepts has become a large focus in our school systems over the past few years, but many schools don’t have the resources to allow children explore these concepts in a fun, interactive manner. At The STEM Lab, it is our mission to inspire children to pursue careers in STEM fields through educational play and hand-on learning at a young age
Below are our most popular after-school clubs. We have Harry Potter Science Wizards, Biomedical Engineering, Junior Medic Clubs and more! We can customize your program based on your curriculum and standards goals and student population. Please complete the form above so we can start crafting an unique sustainable STEM plan for your students.
The STEM Lab LLC Homeschool “Fun in S.T.E.A.M.” programs offer a uniquely structured program designed to help children KG – 8th grade develop critical thinking skills and apply foundation principles of science, math, engineering, and technology to life. Each class is carefully crafted in alignment with Ohio’s learning standards and the Next Generation Science Standards. Hands-on activities have been developed to increase understanding and allow for endless creativity for each topic. Depending on the program, scholars will take home projects and parents will receive weekly updates and at-home resources.
Each program can be further specified for your unique class or event. If this list does not have what you're looking for, no problem! We are happy to use our creativity in delivering an engaging, dynamic, and technical session to scholars.

Young engineers will explore the principles of engineering by designing and building projects using Lego bricks. We will introduce simple machines and learn how to incorporate them into designs. This program is the perfect fusion of physics, engineering, and art!
This is for the budding scientist! The kid that wants to know why and how things happen. Students will increase their scientific literacy skills by examining everyday situations propelled by science. We will investigate our favorite foods, electricity, environmental science, and more.
This series is exclusively for the powerful girls! Scholars will explore chemical engineering by creating some of their favorite personal care items. Girls will also learn engineering basics through a design project.
Our Junior Forensic Scientists will examine evidence from a crime scene to test against multiple suspects. Everything from hair, fingerprint, DNA analysis and handwriting will be inspected.
For your budding chemist, this science series investigates something we all love: FOOD! Using hands-on experiments, scholars will enjoy concocting mixtures, analyzing elements, and most of all tasting their lab work. Through food, students can learn a lot about physical and natural sciences and it's all fingers-first!
In this specialized in-school STEM robotics and coding series, scholars will explore mechanisms, build and design features for robots and program them through coding to complete tasks.
"This was our most popular enrichment program last year! We are so happy to have you back!"
- Resource Coordinator Sherwood Elementary
"Our students' math scores increased 11% above others that did not take the class with The STEM Lab!"
- Project Connect, CPS
"This program allowed our students to learn about simple machines in an interactive and fun way. The entire time students were engaged and stated
how much fun they were having. We will definitely be continuing this partnership with The STEM Lab in Cincinnati."
