The human body is amazing! This camp is for the curious kid who wonders how their body works from the inside out. While studying our body’s functions, students will design and create life-sized organs and their functions using materials (and chemical mixtures) to attach them to their replicas. Jr. Scientists will even be introduced to biomedical engineering through a body mimicry and prosthetics with the use of our 3D printer.

Slime Science

Did you know chemical engineers are the creators of slime? This non-Newtonian fluid takes on many different characteristics and your budding scientist will learn about its chemical makeup. In this week long camp, Jr. Scientists will discover the secret science to glow in the dark, magnetic, thermo-chromatic, edible slime and more! All the investigative fun without the mess at home. *students will take their experiments home.

For your budding chemist, this camp investigates something we all love: FOOD! We've added many new tasty experiments like fruity noodles. Your food chemist will perform hands-on  experiments and enjoy concocting mixtures, analyzing elements, and most of all tasting their lab work.

Jr. Scientists will make butter, ice cream, solar ovens, and even food for art! *this camp not suggested for children with food allergies. Through food, scholars can learn a lot about physical and natural sciences and its all fingers-first!

**All new experiments for summer 2020!!

Sick Science
